Mapping 25 Years of Family History Research in Ukraine

Our team has uncovered family stories across Ukraine for two decades, helping people reconnect with their ancestral roots. The map below highlights the locations where we’ve conducted genealogical research—towns, villages, and historic settlements where generations of families once lived.

But our work goes far beyond historical archives. We actively search for living relatives who may still reside in these regions, locate and document ancestral graves if they have been preserved, and create Family Books—personalized genealogical records that include family trees, local history, generational charts, and photographs of the places where ancestors once lived.

Each point on this map represents more than just a place—it tells a story of resilience, migration, and heritage. From bustling cities to remote villages, we’ve traced lost records, explored archives, and even walked the streets where our clients’ ancestors once stood.

If your family has Ukrainian roots, there’s a good chance we’ve already explored the region they called home. If not, we’d love to add a new mark to this map that leads to your family’s history.
